weekend Ecumenical Worship Sunday, July 5, 2009 9:30 a.m. Lakeside Park, Bayport We will join with People's Congregation Church as a community to worship and give thanks for our great land on Sunday, July 5 at Lakeside Park, Bayport, on the St. Croix River (2 blocks east of Hwy 95 on Central Ave.) Rev. Beth Faeth of People's Congregational Church will give the meditation. The monetary offering will go to the Valley Outreach Emergency Fund. Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the Valley Outreach Food Shelf. Bring your chair/blanket and bring a friend! The Bayport Community Action League and the Croixdale Community Center will serve refreshments following the service. In case of rain, the service will be at People's Congregational Church. This service is a tradition that began during the 1976 Bicentennial year. |
