Summer Worship on the Front Lawn

During the summer months of July and August we will be worshipping on the north lawn of the church.
These services will be held on the following dates.

July 5 and 19
August 2 and 16

IF IT IS STORMY OR RAINING PLEASE STAY HOME. WE WILL RECORD THE SERVICE INDOORS AND BROADCAST IT ON THE INTERNET. AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT OUT BY 8:00 A.M. IF THERE IS A DECISION TO CANCEL.

Pre-recorded Worship for Viewing at Home

July 12 and 26
August 9, 23, and 30

​Pre-recorded services for the above dates will be broadcast on the internet and on local cable TV.
You may view them on this website or on YouTube. 
​You may also tune in on Channel 18 of the Valley Access local cable TV channel. 

Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Fridays at 2:00 a.m. and 7:00a.m.
Sundays at 1:00 p.m.​

​Summer Worship Guidelines for Outdoor Services 

When we gather for worship outdoors we ask you to follow these guidelines:

• Please bring your own lawn chair and do your best to sit at a safe distance from each other. Colored cones will be placed in the lawn for you to follow. Folding chairs will be available if you need them.
• Please wear a mask to and during the service. We do this not only for our own safety but also out of respect for those for whom this is a very important issue. We also do this for those who might be more vulnerable to complications from an infection. Additional masks are available at the service.
• Please do not have physical contact with others. No hugs, handshakes, etc. Sharing of the peace will be done with hand motions.
• Bulletins will be handed out at the ushers station. You may also print off a copy in advance that has been sent to you by email.
• Activity bags are available for the kids at the ushers station.
• The offering will be received at the end of the service as you leave. You may place your offering in the basket by the ushers station.
• Holy Communion will be distributed with long handled baskets. Both bread and wine are contained in an individualized packet.

OTHER:​ 

• No bathrooms are available, church building is closed.
• No treats or coffee will be served.
• If you have a potted flower plant to share for worship decorations please bring one from home.

Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

GREETINGS BETHLEHEM FRIENDS

Our building remains closed until August 31. We are waiting to open the building until we are absolutely sure that we have all the precautions in place and that it is safe for you to enter the building with other people present.  This includes all scheduled public activities and worship services. We still continue to be the Body of Christ and we will find ways to connect.

You may call the church office at 651-439-3450 and leave messages. They will be checked regularly.
 
When circumstances change and the coronavirus is no longer deemed a threat, we will open our doors and gradually resume our usual activities in appropriate phases.
 
Until then, may God richly bless you and your loved ones. May God keep you safe.
