Communion Instruction

When parents feel their children are ready to receive Holy Communion, contact Pastor Amy.  The children will be invited to attend a three-week series of communion instruction. Classes are available twice a year depending on interest. 

Confirmation

Bethlehem offers confirmation classes to youth in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students in  confirmation regularly assist in worship and participate in a variety of service opportunities.

During the Lenten season, each confirmand partners with a mentor and meets for prayer, discussion, and fellowship. Each year during the weeks after Easter, confirmation students participate in special off-site learning trips, including A Journey through Life, a Twin Cities Tour of Religions, and a Creation Care Tour.

​Once the students have completed the confirmation process, they will be confirmed through an Affirmation of Baptism service on the first Sunday of May in their 8th grade year.
