Chapel ChoirThe Chapel Choir leads worship on occasional Sundays and festivals throughout the year. This dedicated group sings a range of sacred repertoire. The choir also practices the hymns and the liturgies as a part of rehearsals, enabling them to be worship leaders for the congregation. This group is always open to new members; all are welcome!
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 7-8pm, Sanctuary Handbell ChoirKnown as the Ringers, this instrumental group offers its musical gifts once per month. A handbell tradition at BLC is for any of its available members to accompany “Silent Night” on Christmas Eve, and they occasionally play with other instrumentalists or aid in accompanying the choir. They also use a set of new hand chimes to add to their capabilities. If you have ever been interested in trying a handbell choir, this ensemble is searching for more members!
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 6-7pm, Sanctuary Bridge of HarmonyBridge of Harmony (BOH) is a select group of vocalists accompanied by guitar and piano. They explore many styles of music and adds new flavor to familiar hymns and songs. Like the choir, they participate in services throughout the holiday seasons. They also stay active during the summer by leading worship once per month.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 8-9pm, Sanctuary InstrumentsBethlehem is blessed with wonderful musical instruments. A pipe organ built by the English firm J.W. Walker & Sons in 1986. Two grand pianos by Kawai and Yamaha are used during worship. Schumlerich Handbells and Malmark Handchimes are used by the handbell choir.
